Driven to explore and experience adventure in all its forms, our thrill-seeking host finds himself in new places every day, venturing out in wild landscapes to discover what it means to truly live.

SYNOPSIS

Venturing Out is a travel-adventure show that collides with unique characters in wildly varied cultures. This hosted show marries adventure with food, art, music, and the people that make each place exceptional. Always open to trying new things, our host puts himself through the ringer, tackling challenge after challenge in search of a life worth documenting. Joined by a co-host, in each episode our duo sets off to try mountain biking, rock climbing, rafting, side-by-side racing, or simply immersing themselves in the local “it” challenge. Being human, there’s plenty of trial and error, bumps and bruises, and a heck of a lot of fun along the way. The objective of this series is to show viewers just how accessible adventure is and to inspire them to put their shoes on and take that first step.

E1: Living Local

Adventurer and filmmaker Creighton is joined by co-host and local Olivia who challenges him to step out of his comfort zones in surprising ways.

Captain Johnny Carson joins Creighton for a high-seas adventure, leading them on a wild chase through the brush and bramble of St. Croix's famous Buck Island.

E1: Conquering Mountains in El Paso, TX

In El Paso, Texas, outdoor enthusiast Raheim Robinson coaches new mom and aspiring mountain biker Isabel as she rides rocky desert descents in the Franklin Mountains. Then, Raheim visits an ancient bouldering field, Hueco Tanks, home to wild west graffiti and rock art.

E2: Ropes and Fears in Tucson, AZ

In Tucson, Arizona, outdoor enthusiast Raheim Robinson challenges amateur climber Shelly to abandon her ropes and fears and attempt her most ambitious climb yet at Cochise Stronghold, an historic granite mountain filled with native culture and significance.

E3: From Tubes to Tubing in Asheville, NC

In North Carolina’s Pisgah National Forest, mountain biker Raheim Robinson mentors novice Mariko as she navigates big climbs and steep drops. After checking out a record-pressing plant, they go tubing on the world’s third oldest river.

E4: Treetop Adventure in Asheville, NC

In North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, boulderer Raheim Robinson helps former disc golf champ Brett rediscover his love of bouldering following a near-fatal accident. Ziplining, local brews, and a menu inspired by the forest rounds out his visit.

E5: Lightspeed Heavy Lift in Grand Junction, CO

Near Colorado National Monument, boulder Raheim Robinson teaches amateur weightlifter Jaime how to leverage her strength on the Millennium Falcon, a red sandstone overhang. In Rabbit Valley, they rip through epic desert trails on off-road vehicles.

E6: From Dust ‘till Dawn in Grand Junction, CO

At Lunch Loops, mountain biker Raheim Robinson keeps young actor Shaquille on his toes as they conquer switchbacks, rock gardens, and steep drops. They also SUP in the nearby Colorado River and dig into delicious local eats at Bin 707.

E7: Bill’s Spill in Grand Junction, CO

In mile-high alpine forests near Grand Junction, mountain biker Raheim Robinson encourages IT analyst Bill to get back on the bike following an accident that left him with multiple broken bones. They also ride ski lifts, kayak lakes of snowmelt, and sip lavender gin.

E8: Surf’s Up in Wilmington, DE

Touring Delaware, adventurer Raheim Robinson pushes Tatyanna to her limits above the trees before coming back to the ground to get a little history lesson and a fantastic local brew. And in this episode of firsts, Raheim is on his own to catch some waves.
